An Entry-Level J-Style Bass with Familiar Feel and Simple Passive Tone

The new Sire V1 offers a true entry-level J-style experience with familiar feel, classic tone, and dependable performance at an accessible price. Designed for beginners, students, and educational settings, it balances comfort-focused details with simple operation and cost-conscious construction, while being built in the same factory as Sire’s higher-tier models to ensure consistent quality and reliable craftsmanship.

ENTRY-LEVEL J-STYLE NECK PLATFORM


The V1 offers a classic 34" J-style platform with a comfortable C-shape maple neck, enhanced by Edgeless™ fretboard for improved comfort rarely found in entry-level instruments.

PASSIVE J-STYLE ELECTRONICS


Configured with Sire Basic J pickups and a fully passive dual-volume, master-tone layout, the V1 delivers reliable, easy-to-use classic J-style tone ideal for beginners, students, and teaching environments.

ENTRY-LEVEL J-STYLE BODY


Built with cost-effective materials including a Mahogany body for warm tone, the V1 pairs dependable open-gear tuners, a basic bridge, chrome hardware, and multiple classic finishes to deliver reliable performance at an accessible price.

V1 CONTROL LAYOUT

1. Output Jack

Connect the instrument cable to the output jack to send the signal from the instrument to an amplifier, audio interface, or other external equipment.

2. Master Tone

Turn the knob one direction to reduce high frequencies for a warmer, darker tone.
Turn the knob the opposite direction to keep more high frequencies for a brighter, clearer tone.

3. Volume for Bridge Pickup

This knob controls the output level of the bridge pickup.
Turn the knob up to increase the bridge pickup volume.
Turn it down to decrease the bridge pickup volume.
When turned fully down, the bridge pickup will be muted.

4. Volume for Neck Pickup

This knob controls the output level of the neck pickup.
Turn the knob up to increase the neck pickup volume.
Turn it down to decrease the neck pickup volume.
When turned fully down, the neck pickup will be muted.

Basic Use

For a balanced sound, turn both pickup volume knobs fully up.
To emphasize a brighter and tighter tone, increase the Bridge
Pickup Volume or reduce the Neck Pickup Volume.
To emphasize a warmer and fuller tone, increase the Neck Pickup Volume or reduce the Bridge Pickup Volume.

2 – Except as stated below, in-store sales are final and items purchased may not be returned. By completing their transaction, the customer acknowledges that they have taken the item(s) in optimal condition.


3 – Guitars, basses, pedals, amplifiers, accessories, and tubes are not returnable. By paying for the item, the customer acknowledges that: (i) they inspected it and found it to be in optimal aesthetic condition without defects; and (ii) they tested it and it was functioning properly.


4 – All claims due to defects are subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions.


5 – Guitars, basses, pedals, and amplifiers will have a 30-day warranty. The electronics of guitars and basses will have a 90-day warranty. Guitars Boutique, at its sole discretion, will decide whether to repair, replace parts or components (with identical ones), and/or replace the item with an identical one.


6 – At the store's discretion, defective items may be exchanged for an identical item SUBJECT to the defective item being in the same condition as when it was acquired, including its original packaging with all its accessories. This will be done as store credit only. The credit does not apply to special orders or lay-away.


7 – All merchandise leaving the store will be considered as used in the future.


8 – No refunds will be given, regardless of the person.


9 – Special, clearance, or discounted items are not returnable.

In case of a return, the shipping cost will be deducted from the refund.

Guitars Boutique ships to PR via federal mail USPS, UVA, and iWide.

Estimated delivery time once the order has been shipped:

  • Lightweight items, less than 14 pounds are shipped via USPS.
  • Heavier items are shipped via iWide and UVA.
  • No shipments are made on Sundays.

Guitars Boutique is not responsible for delays caused by shipping companies.

  • The buyer is responsible for the care of their instrument/equipment against changes in temperature, humidity, and unstable current.
    All guitars, basses, pedals, and amplifiers will have a 30-day warranty.
  • The electronics of guitars and basses will have an extended warranty of 90 days.
  • Suppliers, who generally reserve the right to decide whether to repair, replace parts or components (with identical ones), and/or substitute the item with an identical one, at their sole discretion.
  • Exchanges, if warranted (at the store's discretion) and if the product is in optimal condition (including its packaging), are for store credit only.
